The Lord My Refuge - Psalm 91

Psalm 91 by Stephanie Yan

They say "a picture paints a thousand words". It was always in God's communication 'technology' to always show and tell. Take our father of faith, Abraham for example. God gave him a promise and also a cosmic light show in the stars to remind him of that promise. Certain prophets were known as 'seers' like Samuel. Jeremiah and Ezekiel were always posed this question "Son of man, WHAT DO YOU SEE?" God would show them a picture or vision in their spirit mind and that vision would 'speak', that is that it comes with a message. Oh how we need to "taste and SEE that the Lord is good"!

This painting is a visual of Psalm 91.

"He (or she) who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty... He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge... For He shall give His angels charge over you."

As the world, including the cosmic, comes in a time of turmoil. May you, child of God, be found in the truth of Psalm 91 - that secret place hidden in Christ. May your eyes be open to SEE that there are more for you than against you! Amen

Heavens open

This painting was painted during Shabbat service
on the 11th of August 2012 at Holy Fire Creations, Malaysia by Stephanie Yan

"Most assuredly , I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man" John 1: 51

This was a promise Jesus gave Nathanael. This promise is for us too. The Cross at the top signifies that Jesus Christ is the Door and the way has been made for us! Praise be to God!

Expression of Glory

"The Heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork"
Psalms 19:1

Have you ever admired a sunset and wondered who could paint the skies with such color indescribable? Or even observe how leaves can have different patterns and "designs"? God is a Master Craftsman. And we are created in His very image and nature. We are creative just like God. It is said that the imagination of Man is what God speaks to in picture form. And we recently discovered that the sons of glory on the earth are expressing what the Father shows them onto a canvas. It is what you can call an "Expression of Glory".

Worship is not just constrained to music and singing. If one can worship God in dance, then one can worship God through art (just like Bezalel who was chosen as the chief artisan of the Tabernacle). It is said that the Spirit of God comes upon an artisan and God Himself puts the design or art in their spirit mind. It is then the liberty of expression given to Man to translate a "vision" to a "tablet" or canvas.

"Write the vision and make it plain on tablets,
that he may run who reads it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
but at the end it will speak,
and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
because it will surely come,
it will not tarry."
Habakkuk 2:2-3

Stephanie, the artist, making herself comfortable with her paints. The painting was finished in one session of worship which lasted approximately one and a half hours.

Watchmen in the midst of Provision

By end of October 2011, God suddenly took us by surprise... again! Pastors Chris & Grace Glory were drawn back to the "hub of glory" in chilly weathered The Gateway, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho USA. It's been almost a complete 6 years since their first visit in 2006.

Whilst attending the Quantum Revelation seminar at The Gateway, they met artists who, during worship sessions, would paint what the Spirit inspired onto canvases. Hence, each piece of art comes from the glory realm.

It is not unusual for God to move through the medium of art. After all, ALL forms of creativity come from Him. In Exodus 31:1-6, we find a character named Bezalel from Judah. He was a gifted artisan and whom God said "I have filled him with the Spirit of God... in all manner of workmanship to design artistic works" for the Tabernacle.

Pastors brought home the painting above entitled "WATCHMEN IN THE MIDST OF PROVISION". It was painted by William Griffen during glory worship at the Gateway, taking 3 days to complete. The significance of the American Quail birds speak of provision, just like in Exodus 16 when God provided quails for the children of Israel. In the painting, there seems to be a gust of wind and autumn leaves changing colour, a sign of a coming winter. However, the watchmen quails are watching over a flock of baby quails even in the midst of impending gloom. God is assuring us that He is watching over us and YHVH JIREH will always provide.

Isaiah 62:6-9 was brought to remembrance.

I have set watchmen on your walls...
they shall never hold their peace day or night.
The LORD has sworn by His right hand
and by the arm of His strength:
Surely I will no longer give your grain
as food for your enemies...
but those who have gathered it shall eat it,
and praise the LORD... in My holy courts.

O taste and see that the Lord is good! He is watching over us in this decade of Ayin - His EYE is on His house & His people. He WILL always provide! Hallelujah!
